Rodrigo Alves was born to A Brazilian mom and an British dad at the end of July 30th 1983 in Sao Paulo. Roserval Alves (her father) originates from Portugal and Alves arrived in Brazil in 1944. The Alves family began by farmingbut soon expanded to retail and shopping centers. 5 When she was small, her grandfather purchased his daughter Barbie dolls. Alves was born male, however, she believed that she should have been female at her age of "three or four years old, five, as well as six". She also played with dolls, cross-dressed and loved having fun with them. [6][7] Alves believes that individuals shouldn't be judged by their gender. Alves was shy and bullied throughout her youth. In her teen years, Alves had a hormone problem, caused by excess estrogen that caused breast tissue to grow; her other features were also targeted by bullies. Alves was born to an affluent family who own a number of food stores in Brazil. They have been wealthy for many years, however they still don't generate any revenue from the grocery stores. (10) Alves made the move to London aged 18 and studied public relations at the London College of Communication. Alves receives the money of her grandparents.
