Aspen Ladd was 14 when she started to take part in the sports of combat. After a kickboxing training session, BJJ and wrestling, she began her professional debut with Jaimee Nievera at WCFC when she was just 18. Aspen started her professional career in 2015, signing to Invicta FC for her professional debut. Invicta 11 saw her slay Ana Carolina Vidal to score an KO early in the round. The next time she fought, she won in the ring against Amanda Cooper via second-round armbar submission and went up to bantamweight to fight at Invicta FC 16. Aspen utilized her expertise in wrestling to knock out McGill with a TKO during the third round (elbows and punches). Aspen then went on to fight Jessica Hoy for Invicta FC18 in a catchweight that was 138.1lb. Ladd was not able make the weight, however Aspen was victorious and defeated Hoy by TKO. Invicta FC 28 was her final bout with the club. Invicta FC 22 saw Sijara Eubanks be defeated in a unanimity. Aspen Ladd competed in her UFC debut against Lina Ladsberg. She outclassed Lina and pounded her with a ground-and-pound for a second-round TKO victory. Her dominance continued and she got a bigger win in her subsequent fight with Tonya Evinger at UFC 229 Ladd defeated Evinger during the first round, and was awarded her a night's performance bonus. Invicta FC fighter Sijara Eugenes was in the UFC's Fight Night dos Anjos-Lee rematch with Sijara's Eubanks, was the first fight she's ever had in any significant role. The two fights were an intense fight which Ladd was victorious by a majority decision. The two fighters each received their Fight of the Night Bonus. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie defeated Ladd in just 16 seconds to end her streak of winning. Yana Knitskaya lost in the third at UFC 7.7 on ESPN. Her most recent bout for the UFC she was a part of Norma Dumont at UFC Fight Night 195 in a rematch fight. The fight was a unanimous decision.
